Friends who drip are not really friends

Drip Is someone who drips really a friend?  In case you don’t know what I mean by drip it is short for drip email campaign which is a fancy business like way to send spam.  No one likes spam but if it is called a drip email campaign then it isn’t spam but it really is spam with a different name.

I didn’t sign up to be dripped on but some of my friends decided to drip on me anyway.  These are people that I have met n person, shared a few laughs and maybe a drink with.  We chatted on twitter and became facebook friends and occasionally sent emails back and forth or maybe chatted on skype.

Now the only contact I have with them is the drip. Dripping isn’t a way to maintain a friendship even a superficial online type friendship.  Friends don’t drip on friends and that is all there is to it.

You mean you don’t love getting listings from people in another state or their newsletter? Shameful…(((grinning))))

Not a fan of drips advertising houses. Not a fan of social media drips either. They make me feel anti social.
