You can get the traffic back by buying an advertisement or by paying for a premium service. It is a good system for all of us.
You support third party sites by soliciting agent reviews, answering questions, generating QR codes to drive traffic to the sites and by donating blog posts and other content. You support it even more when you try to “game the system”.
Stop complaining about how the sites you are supporting are run. It is a good system but it won’t work if you don’t cooperate and continue to drive traffic to them. If you ignore them they will go away and we can’t have that now can we? We can’t have consumers coming directly to our sites now can we? We can’t have agent reviews on Yelp, Linked-in or on our own MLS now can we? We need third party sites because we do. So please keep drinking Kool Aid they provide for free and choose the flavor of the day and stop your whining.
