There is a great way to not only make your blog less effective but you can go even further and make it less than useless and pay for the privilege. Just have it embedded in one of those special real estate template web sites.
Embedding your blog into your template web site will almost guarantee that the blog will never have a page rank or show up in the major search engines except on page 20 right along with the site. Why do people pay for lousy SEO when they can get it for free?
A better way might be to embed the website into the blog, or just get rid of the web site and make it part of the blog. Create a custom page, put a lot of color in it, use dark colors and then put as many pictures of yourself on it as you can and find the picture of that generic house used for real estate web sites and put it on the top of the page and call it a web site.
