I am really way too busy to write on this hot dog stand but as always I have something to say. First of all blogs are social media. Yup they are. With that said . . I would also like to say that there was a time when disagreeing with someones opinion in a blog post or a tweet or even on Facebook was acceptable in the RE.net in fact it was encouraged.
Conversations and discussions were important as were new ideas. Today social media in the RE.net is about backs. It is about patting others on the back and some back slapping and maybe an occasional back stab but in most cases people write and their fans all come and agree and everyone feels good.
There is some value in writing stuff that we can all feel good about but it isn’t as fun as the discussions and conversations we used to have.
