Starting next Month the real estate weenie will have a homes for sale section. This site will feature real estate for sale nationwide. It will be a free service but the agents who pay a fee will get to have featured listings and the street name will be spelled correctly and the pictures will be right side up and they will get to be the recommended preferred experts and of course the best agents or maybe the poorest depending upon how much we decide to charge.
We may at some point throw in a set of knives or a spatula for our preferred, premium, platinum agents. At any rate we are happy to take your money and call you an expert even if you have never sold a home. When I use the word ‘we’ I mean it in an omnipotent kind of way.
Agents who do not put their listings in my new real estate for sale section will not be serving their sellers or in some cases the agents are dinosaurs and just stupid or maybe they are poo poo heads and their opinions about putting listings on third party sites are wrong. A good real estate brokerage will have their listings displayed on all sites that have homes for sale on them no matter how spammy the sites are because we the third party sites ( and when I say we I mean the future me and still omnipotent) have decided that our sites are best for consumers and we took surveys right on our sites. Home buyers need to find a home on at least 15 web sites before they really believe it is for sale.
We are going to use the real estate listings to market several products. Basically everything from tampons to snowmobiles. There is also a good chance that the homes you sell will be pictured next to hot dogs and hot dog related foods and merchandize.
This sounds great! With so many big brokerages pulling their listings from sites like this there will be more room for the preferred agents. It makes me want to go out and get a listing just to try this! Do I need a listing to be a preferred agent? Do I need a real estate license?

Interesting point. No you don’t need a license to advertise real estate. I don’t have a problem taking your money and calling you an expert and maybe selling more tampons and snow mobiles.
Let’s say that I want the street name spelled right, but don’t care if my pics are upside down. Can I still get a discount and be a Super Duper Preferred Expert Agent?
seriosuly? This is not about you. this is about consumers. You owe it to them to have the photos right side up so give me money you greedy agent!
Sorry. Just being a smarty pants. Truth is, half of these sites don’t care what you put in you listing, just as long as you pay them to advertise. They really don’t seem to care if you follow up on a lead or not. Just pay them for the lead. smh…
I’m just going to continue to try and do the very best by my clients and let the rest fall where they may. 🙂
You have to know I was kidding. I am just using the same kind of sales pitch the big third party sites use. telling agents that it is all about consumers
