RPR vs Zillow

Software of any kind has never been one of NAR’s strengths.  It doesn’t matter where they get the program from it is expensive and obsolete before it is even rolled out.  These are the same people who sold the trademark domain name Realtor.com.  They really should stay away from the internet all together.

Just for grins and giggles . . .and it did make me giggle . . I thought I would do a side-by-side comparison of my own home on Zillow vs. RPR.  I got two completely different values and I have to say my home is worth more on RPR than it is on Zillow but I was surprised to see that on RPR my value went from 75K in May of 2011 to $237K in March of 2012.

It has been dropping in value since march of this year and is only worth $175K on RPR which is a lot more than the $107K it is worth in the Zillow Zestimate.
