I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to have a guest post from Todd Carpenter here on the weenie. Todd and I go all the way back to the day I discovered him in July of 2007. Even though I am not a people person I like Todd. I like Todd because it rhymes with odd and because Todd is one of the few people I know who really is all that AND a bag of chips yet he does not take him self so *&^%$##!! seriously and he will take the time to show a friend a cactus.
Nothing goes down smoother than an ice cold glass of TruliAide – By Todd Carpenter
It’s been a few years since I hung out at the weapon of mass destruction disguised as a weenie stand. I’ve missed it. Who wouldn’t? These weenies are good!
Three years in Chicago was not so bad. At least I had Portillos and Gold Coast Dogs to tide me over. Here in Denver, my choices are a bit more limited. The weenie stands are not so great. In fact, some of them are pretty horrible. So how do I wash it down? TruliAide! I’ve tried to keep my addiction a secret, but Teresa called me out on it last night. I might as well admit it. I drink the the green Kool Aide. It’s so tasty and sweet.
We’re on a strict budget right now. So some times, my wife fools me into drinking a glass of water with some sugar in it. I can’t tell the difference because I go through life wearing emerald shade glasses. It all looks green to me!
Enjoy the hot dogs. If you’re like me, you’ll add extra bright green relish and a hot peeper on the side. In the mean time, head on over to realtynex.us and check out my new blog.
Love, Todd Carpenter
