I never thought I would be writing about manners on this blog of mass destruction cleverly disguised as a hot dog stand but I am because I can.
Bragging about being rich or about how much money you make is bad manners. Personally I think if you need to brag about how much you earn or how much you have you may be compensating for something that is lacking in your life.
Bragging about your vast wealth and about how much money you make is in very poor taste, bad manners and tacky. . . I won’t repeat it again.
Yet if you are wealthy you should enjoy your fabulous wealth and use some of it to change the world, even the parts of it that are close to home. Use your wealth to create living wage jobs.
Finally I will end this rant by saying that you should not forget the people who help you make all that money. If you own a company or lead a team it is possible that some of the credit should go to those who work for you. It is just wrong to take all of the credit for the hard work of others even if you did hire them.
You can have money and manners.
