It is time to write on this hot dog stand again.  I  have quite a collection of posts. Times have changed a bit since I started this blog of mass destruction cleverly disguised as a hot dog stand.  It was started back in the day when if Realtors used any social media at all they had blogs.  Most did not know what a blog is which is a good thing it meant fewer comments from Realtors on my business blog.

Now that the housing market is in the toilet and on it's way to being flushed down the drain I notice that there are more social media weenies than there are real estate weenies.  You know what I mean.  There are way too many Realtors but these days there are also way too many social media experts with more arriving starting up every day.  It is the economy stupid.  There is a need for people to help businesses and even Realtors with social media but, and brace your selves because the next statement I am going to make is unbelievable . . not all of these experts know what the hell they are doing.

There are a few ways a social media expert can be checked out on line but I am not going to give away all of my secrets right now.  I will throw out one hint if you can not find the expert on the internet they might not be very good with the social media stuff. I can't resist with a second hint, if they are new on the social media scene it is possible that they don't have much experience and may actually be dangerous.   You twisted my arm . . one more hint . . nah I am not qualified to give such advice.

I am going to cut to the chase here I have already made a short story long.  For some strange reason I bought the domain name socialmediaweenie.com I have no idea what to do with it but give me some time and I will figure something out.  I am not so good with social media because I don't like people, but I like media a lot and so I am sure I will find some use for it.

Speaking of media I got this nice picture of a hot dog stand at the Minnesota State Fair and though it would be a nice photo for this hot dog stand.

  1. Totally agree… had someone at a “Beginners’ Workshop, taking notes, having BFO (Blinding Flash of the Obvious) Moments as we discuss blog platforms, twitter, how to create a fan page – generally in the right BEGINNER session… come up to me afterwards and say “I’m a Coach and Speaker! Can’t wait to lead a session at REBarCamp in 10 days…”
